SVC0B Reversing Motor Alarm

Explanation
An overcurrent of the reversing motor (stepper motor) of the reversing unit was detected in the
mechanism controller. Note that if any roller or shaft is locked or clogged, the overcurrent is not
occurred.
Troubleshooting Procedure
Replace mechanism controller
PCB. Verify that you installed
the original NVRAM (from failed
PCB) to new PCB!

Disconnect reversing motor
connector SBMP and SBMJ and
do a test printing.
Check for pinched wires, cables,
and damaged connectors
between CN18 on the
mechanism controller PCB and
the reversing motor.

Repair or replace
damaged part.
Connect reversing motor
connectors SBMP and SBMJ
and retry test printing.
