SVCB5 Video Synchronous (VS) Alarm

Explanation
It was detected by the mechanism controller that the VS (video synchronous) signal from the main
controller is not received even after 10 sec have passed since the mechanism controller issued the
VR (video request) signal.

Turn off the printer, then turn on
the printer. Verify all cover are
closed.
No
SVC B5 error
still occur?
Yes
Turn off the printer. Remove the rear
cover and the top cover, then check
for pinched wires, cables, and
damaged connectors between CN 14
on the mechanism controller PCB
and the CN2 on the main controller,
especially for VR and VS signal.
No
Pinched wires or cables,
or damaged connectors.
Yes
Repair or replace damaged part.
Verifly repairs.
SVCB5 error
still occur?
Yes
Replace main controller PCB.
Verifly repairs.
SVCB5 error
still occur?
Yes
Replace mechanism controller
PCB.
Transfer the NVRAM from the
failed PCB to the new PCB.
Exit!
Replace main controller PCB.
SVCB5 error
still occur?
Yes
Replace mechanism controller
PCB.
Transfer the NVRAM from the
failed PCB to the new PCB.
