10 TROUBLESHOOTING

10.2 Confirming the error with the LED

The method for confirming the error with the R2 LEDs is explained in this section.
Refer to the programmable controller CPU and master module User's Manuals for
errors related to the programmable controller CPU and master module.
(1) When the R2 RUN LED turns OFF
Cause
Incorrect switch setting
A watch dog timer error has
occurred.
(2) When the R2 L RUN LED turns OFF
Cause
A watch dog timer error has
occurred.
The cable is
disconnected/short-circuited
The master station is in a link
stop
The 24V power is not supplied
to the R2, or the voltage is
insufficient.
The station Nos. are duplicated.
The setting switch is not set
within the range (station No. 0
or 65 or more, transmission
speed other than 0 to 4).
Correct the switch setting. (Section 4.4)
Turn the R2 power ON again or reset it.
If the RUN LED does not turn ON after the power is turned
ON again, there may be a problem in the hardware. Contact
your nearest dealer or sales office.

Find the transmission cable that is disconnected or short-
circuited, and repair.
Check whether an error has occurred in the master station.

turn the power ON again or reset it.

again or reset it.
