Clinical Overview

Classically, surgical retractors have been limited to fi xation and
displacing tissues to provide adequate exposure of the surgical site. The
Aperture™ Surgical Surveyor's built-in video is practical for providing
a simultaneous view of the operation to the surgeon and the assistant.
Alternating between views is helpful to retain perspective. When teaching
surgical trainees, the observing surgeon is able to have a real-time view.
