1. Overview
Stat
The Stat is a single-use, disposable device that attaches to and covers
the Video Baton. It provides a sterile barrier between the Video Baton
and the patient. The Stat can function as either a retractor or dissector.

The Stat has an integrated handle that enables the operator to manually
position the Video Baton. Alternatively, the Stat can be connected to
a Strong Arm which provides a clamping system for holding the Video
Baton in place, thereby freeing the hands of the operator. The Stat
should not be used to lift loads heavier than 10 lb (4.5 kg).
The Stat provides two ports with standard, Luer lock connectors. Surgical
tubing can be connected to the fi ttings on the Stat. Gas, suction, and
liquids can be delivered to the site via these two channels.
