Multi-button extension for SIP intercom V3.0
GB
Introduction
Gaskets
To protect your device from any dampness,
please make sure the included gaskets have
been put in place correctly upon installation
of your door intercom station. The gasket
must lie cleanly on the frame of the in-wall or
surface-mounted housing or, in the case of
cavity wall mounting, on the flat surface of the
mounting base! In-wall housings are available
for installation in masonry or plasterboard. You
will find the most important mounting informa-
tion on a sticker inside the respective housing.
For mounting in plasterboard, please order the
respective mounting set (order no.: 20-5216).
Removal of the electronics to the multi-button
extension board 40-0013B-IP with loudspeaker
and microphone (Please note: only possible
with the following electronics)
▸
20-0001B-IP/-0014B-IP/-0016B-IP 2.5 m max.
•
The extension cable 20-9305-BS should be
used to extend the speaker and microphone
cables.
•
The connection of the button connection
board to the basic electronics (see "Mount-
ing" on page 19) is made either via the
bus line included in the scope of delivery
or, for distances >0.40 m up to 2.5 m max.,
via an on-site IY-ST-Y or AY-ST-Y between
the button connection board and the basic
electronics. The bus connection cable must
be connected to the basic electronics using
an HPI connector.

Cleaning and maintenance
They have installed high-quality Behnke
products with front panels made of different
materials. All materials should be cleaned with
a suitable cleaning agent in regular, sufficiently
short intervals, depending on the material. This
prevents early ageing and patina formation on
the surface.
Original Behnke components
Please only use Behnke components for
accessories or spare parts – this also applies
to POE injectors! This is the only way to ensure
trouble-free operation. Only install or assemble
the electronics in the supplied housings. If a
third-party housing or a housing other than the
one provided for mounting is used, we cannot
guarantee functioning and approval of your
door intercom.
Configuration
The SIP stations with and without camera
are configured via web frontend (for system
requirements, see page page 16). Alterna-
tively, some settings such as volume etc. can
be configured via telephone with DTMF dialling.
See "Help" in the web frontend of the SIP door
intercom.
Regulations
Please observe the relevant regulations for the
installation of telecommunications and elec-
trical systems and the valid, current standards
and rules of network technology!
