Print speed suddenly slows down
while printing continuously
A function is operating that prevents
o
damage to the interior of the printer due to
high temperatures.
Printing can continue even though the print speed
is reduced.
To recover the print speed, after removing the rear
cover, pull out the interior of the printer until it
stops, and open the inner cover and leave it like that
for 15 to 30 minutes. When doing this, leave the
printer's power on. Don't turn off the printer's
power.
The administrator password has
been lost.
Contact your dealer or Epson Support.

The initial value for the administrator's password is
the product's serial number. If you forget the
password after it was changed from the product
serial number, contact your dealer or Epson
Support.
If the Lock Setting is Off, then you can execute
Clear All Data and Settings without inputting the
admin password. Doing this returns all the settings,
including the admin password, to their initial values.
