Open the printer cover, move the print head in
the opposite direction to the jammed paper, and
then press the Z button.

Hold down the d button to eject all cut paper.

Remove the ejected paper.

After removing the paper, press the Z button.

Close the printer cover.
When Press M and load paper. is displayed on
the screen, reload the paper and resume printing.

Important:
Before you reload the roll paper, cut the edge
straight horizontally. Cut any wavy or creased
sections.
If there is a problem at the edge, decreased
print quality and paper jams may occur.

Discrepancies in the ink refill period
and the charge state display
There may be discrepancies due to the usage
o
state and the usage environment.
You may be able to clear the discrepancies by
implementing Charge Setting on the Printer Setup
menu. See the following for more information.

If it does not clear even when you implement the
Charge Setting, clear the discrepancies by
continuing to use the chip unit without doing a
reservation.
The control panel display keeps
turning off.
Is the printer in sleep mode?

When you press the P button, the printer returns
from sleep mode. The delay before the printer enters
sleep mode can be selected in the Setup menu.

Color ink runs out quickly even when
printing black data.
Color ink is consumed during the head

cleaning process.
If all nozzles are selected when you perform Head
Cleaning, inks of all colors will be used.

The paper is not cut cleanly.
