Parflange 170 ECO/ WCM
The machine may be operated only by personnel who have been appropriately instructed,
have received on-the-job training and are properly authorised. These personnel must be
familiar with the Operating Manual and act in accordance with it. Current authorisations for
operating personnel must be clearly established.
Operating personnel under training may for the time being work on the machine only un-
der the supervision of an experienced person. Completed, successful on-the-job training
must be confirmed in writing.
All control and safety devices may be activated strictly only by trained personnel.

2.1.5 Protective clothing

For any type of work on the machine, all users are obliged to wear at least the following
personal protective clothing:
• Safety footwear
• Closely fitting work clothing

2.1.6 Organisational measures

The requisite personal protection wear is to be made available by the operating company
and always maintained in a functional condition.
All the available safety equipment should be regularly checked.

2.1.7 Protection equipment

Each time before the machine is used, all protection equipment must be properly installed
and be capable of functioning correctly.

2.1.8 Informal safety measures

The Operating Manual should always be kept at the machine.

Complementing the Operating Manual, generally applicable and also local regula-

tions regarding electrical supply, accident prevention, health and safety standards
and environment protection should be made available and should be observed.
All safety and danger notices on the machine should be maintained in legible condi-
-
tion and renewed as necessary.
