When the Spine Matrix is not positioned: Lift the frame slightly
along the side to position the coil elements.
3 Place the support mat on the frame.
4 Place the positioning aids and cushions best suitable for the
current situation (especially when positioning the head).
5 Observe the symbols on the sides of the abdominal pad and make
sure the patient does not lean on these areas, as the pad may tilt
sideways.
6 Depending on the female patient, adjust the size of the canned
coils: Pull on the releases at the outside and move the side wings,
as required.
7 In the feet first orientation, connect the coil plugs to coil sockets 8
and 10. In the head first orientation, connect the coil plugs to coil
sockets 1 and 4.
8 Place the positioning aids and cushions best suitable for the
patient's breast size as depicted. ( Page 57 16 Ch AI Breast)
