1 Slide the height adjustable grid from above into the fixation unit.
2 Slide the fixation unit with the height adjustable grid onto the
notched guide rails of the base plate.

Within the frame, the biopsy device can be turned by 90˚ so that the
breast can be stabilized for a lateral/medial or cranio-caudal access.
✓ The frame is positioned on the patient table.
✓ The coil is positioned and connected.
If a high patient load is placed on the frame, the fixation screws of
the fixation plate may make contact with the frame. This may
damage the screws. As the screws are only used for height
adjustments during lateral applications, they can be removed for
medial applications.
1 Remove the fixation screws for medial applications to avoid
damage to the screws.
2 For lateral access: Insert the biopsy device laterally into the frame
so that the positioning unit and/or the height adjustable grid are
located on the outside.
