The breast is stabilized with the horizontal or vertical slat plates. They
plates vary according to the examination method used (post/pillar or grid
method). All horizontal or vertical slat plates just as the height
adjustable grid can be adjusted in height using the lateral screws.
(1) Horizontal or vertical slat plates for grid method: horizontal slat
plate and height adjustable grid
(2) Horizontal or vertical slat plates for the post/pillar method:
horizontal slat plate and curved slat plate
The fixation plate with the horizontal or vertical slat plate is slid on
the notched guide rails of the base plate. To remove them from the
base plate again, the unlocking devices on both sides have to be
pulled outward.
The disposable height adjustable grid is used for the grid method. The
needle or marker blocks can be inserted into the individual grid
openings. This grid can be adjusted in height.
Another reusable grid plate is optionally available.
