If a UPS runs abnormally, rectify the fault by referring to the following table.

The active power supply

Troubleshooting

Possible Cause
The mains input power
cable may be loose.
The mains input power
cable is mistakenly
connected to the output
terminal of the UPS.
Either the external
battery or built-in
battery is incorrectly
connected.
The UPS is overloaded.
The UPS is overloaded
and now it is supplying
grid power to loads in
bypass mode.
The UPS is overloaded
for many times in a short
period. The UPS works in
bypass mode, and it
directly connects the
equipment to the active
power supply.
8 Troubleshooting
Measure
Check that the input
power cable is
connected.
Correctly connect the
mains input power cable
to the UPS mains input
terminal.
Check that all batteries
are correctly connected.
Remove the exceeding
load from the UPS
output terminal.
Remove the exceeding
load from the UPS
output terminal.
Remove the exceeding
load from the UPS
output terminal, shut
down the UPS, and then
restart it.
