Seating and Safety Restraints
SEAT BELTS
Use seat belts/child restraints at
all times. Never use a seat belt for
more than one person. Ensure belts
are worn without slack or twists
and are not obstructed by other
passengers or parcels etc.
Avoid wearing thick and
bulky clothing. For optimum
protection the seat belts
should fit tightly around the
body.
Fastening the seat belts
Pull the belt from the reel steadily.
It may lock if pulled sharply or if
the vehicle is on a slope.
Insert the tongue into the
buckle until a distinct 'click'
is heard, otherwise the seat
belt will not lock correctly.
To release the belt, press the red
button on the buckle. Then let
the belt rewind completely and
smoothly.
