II Ignition switched on, all elec-
trical circuits operational.
Warning and control lights
illuminate. Key position 'II' is
for normal driving and must be
selected if being towed.
III Starter motor activated.
Release the key as soon as the
engine starts.
When the key is removed from the
ignition switch, the steering column
lock will be activated and prevent
the steering wheel from being
turned.
Never return the key to the '0'
position while the vehicle is
in motion.
Digital clock (If equipped)
Switch the ignition on. The clock
can be set to either 12 or 24 hour
format.
To toggle between 12 or 24 hour
format, depress both buttons simul-
taneously and then release them. If
the display shows 1:00, the clock is
in the 12 hour mode, and if 0:00 is
shown, it is in the 24 hour mode.
To advance the hours, press the H
button, to advance the minutes the
M button.
To advance rapidly hold the appro-
priate button down.

If the engine does not start.
Do not drive the vehicle on
the starter motor, as the
starter will be damaged.
