Controls and Features
Handbrake
Always apply the handbrake fully
before leaving the vehicle.
To apply the handbrake, pull the
lever up. To release it, pull the lever
up slightly, depress the locking but-
ton and push the lever down. The
handbrake acts on the rear wheels.
To reduce handbrake application
effort, depress the brake pedal
while applying the handbrake.
Storage compartments (If
equipped)
In front of and behind the gear
lever there are storage compart-
ments.The seats also incorporate
convenient storage pockets.
KEYS
The key operates all locks on your
vehicle. In case of loss, replace-
ment keys are available from your
Authorised Dealer. You will need to
provide them with the key number
(shown on the tag provided with
the original keys).
You should always carry a second
key in case of an emergency.
Safeguard engine immobilisa-
tion system
The engine immobilisation system
is an additional theft protection
feature which prevents the engine
from being started unless a key
with the correct electronic code is
used in the ignition lock.
