CONSOLE CONTROLS
Reverse gear should be
engaged only when the vehi-
cle is stationary.
To select reverse gear, shift the
lever into the neutral position
and then move the lever fully to
the right against spring pressure,
before pulling backwards.
To avoid shifting noises when
engaging reverse gear, wait approx-
imately 3 seconds with the clutch
depressed and the vehicle station-
ary before selecting reverse.
Do not apply any undue lat-
eral force to the gear lever
when changing from 5th to
4th gear as this could lead to
the inadvertent selection of
2nd gear.
