This module describes the Nortel Ethernet Redundant Power Supply 15
(RPS 15).
The RPS 15 is a DC power supply used with the AC power supply to
provide DTE power to all of the PoE ports in the Nortel Ethernet Routing
Switch 5520.

Nortel Ethernet DC-DC converter module
This module describes the Nortel Ethernet DC-DC converter module.
The Nortel Ethernet Routing Switch 5510 requires an additional DC-DC
converter module to use the RPS 15. This module connects the RPS 15
to the ERS 5510 but is not required for other switches in the 5500 Series.
For information on connecting this module to the ERS 5510, see DC-DC
Converter Module for the Baystack 5000 Series Switch, 215081-A.
Internal power source only option
This module describes the internal power source only option.
Using the Nortel Ethernet Routing Switch 5520-PWR switch and its internal
power source only option, you have a total of 320 watts of available power.
You can power up to 48 ports at 6.6 W for each port with this configuration
or 20 ports at the maximum power of 15.4 W for each port.
External power source only option
This module describes the external power source only option.
