The Amber LEDs are usually only used during the boot process. Under
normal operation, Green is the only color the XFP LED should emit.

Cabling a standalone switch

This procedure describes the steps used to cable a standalone switch.

Color / Status Description
Green / steady The port has a link established.
Off The port does not have a link established.
Green / steady This link is operating normally.
Green / blinking There is activity on the port.
Green / slow The port has been disabled by the software.

Off Indicates that the link has been lost.
Description
Link established.
Transmit activity detected.
Receive activity detected.
Transmit activity enabled.
Fiber connected with signal present.
XFP has been installed. Laser Transmitter OFF or XFP
in Reset.
XFP has been installed. No Signal Detected or XFP in
Reset.
No XFP installed.
