DANGER: DO NOT try to hold the plastic
in place while running the spools.
5. Use the valve labeled "Winders" to wind
the plastic tight on the spools.
Turn handle clockwise to decrease and
counterclockwise to increase speed.
6. To control the speed, adjust the handle
labeled "Winder". Turn the handle
clockwise to decrease and
counterclockwise to increase the speed.
NOTE: It is recommended to use the wheel
drive only when needed. If the
wheels are used when they are not
needed, controlling the GBU speed
will be tougher.
SECTION 4 - OPERATION
Winders Valve
Winder Speed Handle
Determine if the wheel drive will be

needed to assist the spools in moving the
GBU back into the bag. Ensure the wheel
lock out hubs are in the appropriate
position before moving the machine (see
page 4-8 & 4-9 under "Using the GBU
Drive Wheels" or " Using the tractor" to
orientate).
DANGER: Make sure all personnel are clear
of the augers before starting the
PTO.
NOTE: Make sure the conveyor ball valve is
in the off position (handle will be
perpendicular to the in and out
ports) before engaging the PTO.
This will lessen the load on the
tractor during startup.
Engage the tractor PTO. Set the PTO

speed to operate between 400 to 500
RPMS.
NOTE: There will be a "optimal speed"
were the GBU runs at it peak
performance.

Turn the Conveyor Cut Out Ball Valve to

the "ON" position (handle will be parallel
with the in and out ports).
CAUTION: Make sure it stays clear of the
augers until the top of the bag gets
tight.
