Chapter 3. Operation
FRONT PANEL
The DSU III TDM faceplate is shown in Figure 3-3 . Descriptions of the display
keys and LEDs located on the front panel follow the figure.

Displays menu items and messages in 2 lines by 16 characters.

Selects active menu items. To activate a menu item, press the number of the
item. When the menu item is flashing, press

The numeric keypad contains the numbers 0 through 9 and alpha characters A
through F, which are used to activate menu items. Numbers 0 through 9 are
used to enter parameters.
