Cleaning and disinfecting the circuit

"Cleaning" mode
It is recommended to proceed daily to the washing and the disin-
fecting of the liquid circuit of the unit.
The "Cleaning" mode allows for the washing and the disinfecting of
the liquid circuit in order to reduce the crystalline deposits and the number
of bacteria in the liquid circuit. A rinsing of the circuit is then required to
avoid a possible reaction caused by the ageing of the solution or by an
unwanted mixture of liquids.
All the bottles and handpiece cords used during treatment must
be present during the washing and the disinfecting of the liquid circuit
because the process is simultaneous for all these elements. Remove the
handpieces.
Both connectors must be cleaned.
Circuit washing cycle:
• Prepare the bottle(s) with distilled or demineralized water,
• Press the "Cleaning" mode selector,
• Select the bottle(s) to use,
• Lift the connector(s) and put it (them) above a sink,
• Press the foot pedal to start the program. Three "beeps" and the
blinking of the control lamp of the "Cleaning" mode confirms the end
of the cycle.
Disinfecting cycle:
• Prepare the bottle(s) with a compatible disinfecting solution (refer to
the list of compatible disinfectants at the beginning of this manual),
• Select the bottle(s) to use,

• Lift the connector(s) and put it (them) above a sink,
• Press the foot pedal to start the program. Three "beeps" signal and
the blinking of the control lamp of the "Cleaning" mode confirms the
end of the cycle,
• Then allow the disinfecting solution to act for at least 5 minutes
without intervene with the unit.
Rinsing cycle:
• Prepare the bottle(s) with the sterile distilled water,
• Select the bottle(s) to use,
• Lift the connector(s) and put it (them) above a sink,
• Press the foot pedal to start the program. Three "beeps" signal and
the blinking of the control lamp of the "Cleaning" mode confirms the
end of the cycle,
Press the "Cleaning" mode selector to exit this mode (this cycle must be
then restarted).
(Note: it is possible at any time to press the foot pedal to stop the program
in progress.)
The informative durations of the "Cleaning" mode cycles are defined as
follows (Note: one led corresponds to 10 seconds):
1 bottle 2 bottles
1 cord 30 seconds 1 minute
50 ml 2 x 50 ml
2 cords 1 minute 2 minutes
100 ml 2 x 100 ml

控制灯会闪烁，确认清洁循环结束，

冲洗循环：

• 选择要使用的专用水瓶，

指示灯会闪烁，确认清洁循环结束，
按"清洁"模式选择器退出此模式（之后必须重新启动该循环）。
（注：随时可以按脚踏开关停止正在执行的程序。）
