8. Pull the valve housing (27) apart from the meter
housing (10) while simultaneously feeding the
solenoid wires (14a) into the meter housing (10)
access hole (F . 57).

9. Remove the connecting tube (13) and o-rings (12)
from the meter housing.
10. Discard the old meter housing (10) following local
regulations.

Reassembly
1. Lubricate the connection tube o-rings (12) (F
NOTE: It is not required that the connection tube (13) be
disassembled from both the valve housing (27) and the
meter housing (10). If the connection tube (13) is still
assembled to either component, lubricate the visible
o-ring and proceed to Step 3.

2. Install the connection tube (13) into the valve
housing (27), long end first. The connection tube
(13) needs to be correctly oriented or the meter and
the valve housings will be unable to be fully
assembled (F . 59).

3. Assemble the valve housing (27) and the meter
housing (10) while gently pulling the solenoid wires
(14a) through the access hole on the meter housing
(10), see F . 57.

4. Replace the two cap screws (22) and torque to 60
to 72 in-lbs (6.78 to 8.13 N•m), see F
. 58).
