Reassembly
1. Install the new push rod (16), see F
2. Apply a thin layer of oil to lubricate the new o-rings
(24) and install onto the new cam (23), see F
3. Install the new cam (23) and o-rings (24) assembly
into the valve housing (27), see F
4. Install the spring (17) and spring guide (18) into the
latch assembly (19) (F

(18) are situated between the latch (19) and the

6. Reinstall the washer (26) and screws (25) and
torque to 15 to 25 in-lbs (1.69 to 2.82 N•m), see
F . 43 on page 19.

10. Lubricate the o-ring on swivel (33) with oil, then
reinstall into the valve housing (27) and torque to 15
to 20 ft-lbs (20.3 to 27.1 N•m), see F

11. Squeeze the trigger, then latch the trigger latch to

make sure that it is operational. Squeeze and
release the trigger to ensure that the latch moves
freely and that the trigger closes.
12. Lubricate the connection tube o-rings (12) (F
NOTE: It is not required that the connection tube (13) be
disassembled from both the valve housing (27) and the
meter housing (10). If the connection tube (13) is still
assembled to either component, lubricate the visible
o-ring and proceed to Step 14.
