Configuring Your Headset for Your Assistant Pro

To install your headset
1. If required, installed the sound card (see your sound card documentation for
instructions).
2. Connect your headset to the appropriate port on your computer (see your
computer/sound card documentation for information).
To enable your headset
1. Open Your Assistant.
2. In the Tools menu, select Configurations.
3. Select Handle Calls Using.
4. In the Microphone, drop-down menu, select your headset or sound card.
5. In the Speaker drop-down menu, select your headset, speaker or soundcard.
6. Click OK.
7. Open the Sounds and Multimedia control panel (Start/Settings/Control Panel).
Note: This procedure shows how to select your headset on Windows 2000. If you are
using a different version, see the online help for details on the equivalent control panel.
8. Click the Audio tab.
9. Select your headset or sound card in the Sound Playback Preferred Devices
drop-down menu.
10. Select your headset or sound card in the Sound Recording Preferred Devices
drop-down menu.
11. Click OK.
