The minimum distance of the spray nozzle from the rotor must not be less than 30 cm, with a maximum pressure of 50 bars
-
(i.e. Kärcher pressure washer).
-
The detergent used must be delicate (not strongly alkaline or acidic so as to not react with the aluminium)
After cleaning, blow out any water that may have settled on the rotor.
-
-
When cleaning, make sure not to damage the heat exchanger mechanically or chemically.
Drive maintenance
The rotor is driven by a motor via a belt that runs around the rotor. Drive belt tension must be checked after the first 100 operating
hours. Tension can be increased by shortening the belt.
The motor itself does not require maintenance.
The "V" belt is fixed via a connecting clamp (photo on the
right).
Make sure that the belt is long enough to allow rotation to
be transmitted without slipping.
Regularly check that the belt is intact when the wheel is
stationary.
Open the connecting clamp and pull the old belt off the
pulley.
Check that one end of the new belt is cut at one of the
holes, otherwise cut it accordingly.
Position the new belt around the rotor, pull it tightly and
cut it at the required length.
Secure with the other end of the connection clamp,
inserting the pins in the holes and tightening them. Attach
the belt to the motor pulley and remove the old belt from
the rotor.
Finally, check that the belt is correctly tensioned before
starting the rotor again.
The same operation can be carried out for re-tensioning
the belt after 100 operating hours.
