Turn the new valve stem gently counter clockwise until it stops.
Insert the new valve into the faucet body, aligning the tabs with the grooves in the
faucet body. Ensure the tabs are fully seated in the holes.
Reinstall the valve nut. Using the wrench provided, tighten the nut 1/4-turn past
hand-tight.
Reinstall the stopper using an adjustable wrench. Do not overtighten.
Rotate the stopper to the orientation shown. Using the hex wrench, secure with
the three setscrews.
Slide the washer and the handle onto the valve assembly.
Secure the handle with the setscrew.
Reinstall the plug button.
Turn on the main water supply and check all connections for leaks.
Installation
Tourner doucement la nouvelle tige de valve dans le sens inverse des aiguilles de
la montre jusqu'à ce qu'elle s'arrête.
Insérer la nouvelle valve dans le corps du robinet, en alignant les languettes avec
les rainures dans le corps du robinet. S'assurer que les languettes sont
correctement posées dans les trous.
Réinstaller l'écrou de la valve. À l'aide de la clé fournie, serrer l'écrou de 1/4 de
tour au-delà du serrage à la main.
