b. Tape lightly in position to keep the cap and washer in place during installation. Tape must
not obstruct, and must allow the cap to move up freely when the waste is tightened.
c. Conduct a dry fit to ensure that the Tray fits correctly over the plumbing and the
Easy Clean Trap and it makes full contact with flooring base.
d. Use a non-solvent based Modified Silicone (MS) adhesive.
Working quickly so the product doesn't skin, apply a consistent 8mm bead of adhesive to the
tray having beads 50mm apart and around the perimeter.
Use a 5mm notched trowel to provide complete coverage of adhesive to the bonding area.
3. Tray Installation:
Move tray into position, connect the waste, ensure the tray is in complete contact with the
flooring substrate.
Cover the opening of the Easy Clean Trap to prevent any debris falling into the plumbing.
Do not cover the Tray, leave clear for waterproofing.
Apply pressure to all areas of the tray to promote adhesion.
Place a plywood sheet into the tray to protect the surface and weight the tray down with
suitable weights.
It is recommended to apply a min of 100 kg/square meter and leave the weights in position for
a minimum of 24 hours.
Follow adhesive supplier guidelines.
