WAN Port Setup
23 The WAN Port Setup dialog box is displayed.
If the Trunk (RS232/V.35) connector of your MultiFRAD is connected (through a synchronous device)
to a frame relay network, click OK on the WAN Port Setup dialog box and proceed to step 24.
For a point-to-point application, select PPP/SLIP in the Device Driver group. If this is a
Synchronous mode connection, click OK and proceed to step 24.
For an Asynchronous PPP connection, choose Asynchronous mode, then disable Direct Connect /
Lease Line and select either Answering or Dialing. Modem Type becomes active; select your
modem type from the drop-down list. (If it is not listed, select "Manual Modem" and configure your
modem separately.) For a Dial-up (Dialing) connection, select the Modem Type and enter the Dial
Number, then click OK and proceed to step 24.
Note: Be sure to set the other end of the PPP link for Answering.
