Connecting and Tuning the SX-RM+ Receiver Module for Wireless (RF) Operation
The SX-RM+ Receiver Module will drive up to
sixteen SX16+ Controllers, although only fourteen
radio
'Codes' exist. Each of these codes accounts for
sixteen 'channels' or relays in the SX16+.
(One or more SX16+ may run on the same radio
code in a system - they will respond to transmitted
code in parallel.)
Plug the captive 12' cable into an unused 'IN' jack
on any SX16+ in the system (usually #1).
The cable can be extended up to 100' for reception
in RF shielded or distant locations.
Tuning the SX-RM+
The SX-RM is tuned at the factory and should allow
reliable reception up to 200' from the transmitter. If
reception appears weak, the following tuning
procedure can be used:
Hold the transmitter about 3 feet from the SX-RM+
while pressing any control button. The LED on the
SX-RM+ should glow.
Insert the supplied plastic tuning wand into the hole
in front of the SX-RM+ and turn in both directions
until LED glows brightest. Tuning should be
complete and offer optimum reception.
