Troubleshooting.

If you experience any problems with your Eelex 8000, see if the instructions and the troubleshooting information can
help you find a solution. If the problem persists, contact X Shore for support.
Problem
Bilge water system is leaking
Bilge water system is malfunctioning
Level of bilge water is high
Temperatures rise unexpectedly
Water leaks through a hose or a
device
Smoke is rising from the battery
compartment
Cause
Clogged bilge water pump(s)
A fuse has blown
There is a problem with the seawater
pump system
Too little coolant
Faulty or damaged hose or connector
High-voltage lithium-ion battery is
damaged

Remedy
Remove debris from pump. See Check
the bilge pump system for debris,
page 70
See Reset a fuse or circuit breaker,
page 71
Check the seawater pump system
Refill coolant.

Drive to a safe location. Close the
seawater outlet: open the aft service
hatch and turn the lever perpendicular
to the ball valve housing. Perform an
ocular inspection to find the leakage.
