Prepare for launch
Prepare the hull
1.
Remove the tarpaulin in good time before launching.
2. Wash the hull with a regular shampoo and soft brush.
3. Wax the hull if necessary. Use a standard boat wax.
4. If there are small scratches on the hull, or if some of the surface gelcoat has lost its shine, use a rubbing compound
on these are-as before polishing.
5. Paint the bottom with antifouling paint.
Check parts
Make a note of any frost damage.

Check the condition of the batteries.
2. Check all cables, clamps, engine mountings and other fastenings.
3. Check the rudder.
4. Check the steering system.
5. Check the instrumentation.
6. Close all water drain plugs.
7. Check that all seacocks are in order and tight.
8. Check all pipes, hoses, and valves.
9. Check and, if needed, replace the sacrificial anodes on the propeller shaft, the bow thruster and the heat
exchangers.
10. Check that the fire extinguisher has not expired. If needed, replace the fire extinguisher.
