Check The Bilge Pump System For Debris - X SHORE EELEX 8000 Owner's Manual

1. Close the seawater outlet: turn the lever perpendicular to the housing of the ball valve.
2. Place the seawater filter tool to on top of the lid of the seawater filter. Loosen the lid by turning it counterclockwise.
3. Remove filter assembly by pulling upwards.
4. Remove the filter lid.
5. Clean the filter from debris.
6. Reinstall the filter.
7. Put the lid in place and tighten it using the seawater filter tool.
8. Open the seawater outlet using the lever.

Check the bilge pump system for debris

1. In the aft hatch, locate the valve just before the bilge pump outlet. Close the valve by turning the lever perpendicular
to the tubing.
2. Open the hatch in the bow and remove the two bilge pumps.
3. Clean each pump from debris.
4. Spin each pump with a screwdriver, to make sure that the pump can rotate freely.
