WARNING
• Any work on a high-voltage lithium-ion battery is strictly forbidden without permission from X Shore.
• Do not open any high-voltage lithium-ion batteries without authorization.
• Do not expose a high-voltage lithium-ion battery to external heating sources and direct sunlight. Risk of fire if the
battery temperature exceeds 60 °C.
• Do not use the battery compartment for storage.
– It is strictly forbidden to block the degassing unit.
– Any flammable material added to the battery compartment is a fire hazard.
• The battery compartment shall remain closed and always locked.
The housing of each battery is sealed with two seal labels. Removing the seal labels from the housing and opening the
battery will void all liability and warranty claims.
The performance of the batteries is highly affected by their temperature. Each battery has a built-in system for
temperature control that maintains a suitable temperature as far as possible. To maintain performance and prolong the
battery lifetime, make sure to follow the following recommendations.

To keep a lithium-ion battery in good condition, it is also important to avoid deep discharge of the battery. Follow the
recommendations for state of charge.

The batteries in your boat have passed testing according to the UN Manual of tests and criteria, part 3, subsection 38.3
(UN 38.3), which is a prerequisite for transport
