OPERATION

Centerline

With
, you can find the centerline (midpoint) between any two
100S
positions on your part. You can establish centerline as your datum by
using absolute dimensions or you can create a centerline using
incremental measurements without affecting your current datum.
Refer to "Setting the Datum (Absolute Zero)" on pg. 13.
Setting the Datum on a Centerline
1. Press the
ABS/INCR
2. Move the table to the first location.
3. Press the
ZERO
the centerline.
4. Move the table to the second location along the same axis.
5. Press the
