• The depth of electric pump in the water shall not exceed 80m, instead it must be 3m above the bottom. Further, the electric pump shall not be sunk into
soils. Also, the operator shall properly maintain and repair the machine to prevent blockage and malfunctions. Please check the water level during works to
avoid dry running which can burn the electrical machine and other parts.
• During usage, persons and animals shall not be allowed to swim or wash within the working area. The safety warning label "electric shock risk, no entry"
shall be set up on the site to prevent accidents.
• The oil-filled electrical machine has been filled with appropriate machine oil at the factory. The operators are not allowed to fill in any water or oil into the
electrical machine (except for maintenance).
• The oil-filled electrical machine is filled with machine oil that may leak in case of damage. If the pump is used for planting, cultivation, drinking water, food
transportation and processing etc, the leaked machine oil may cause damage to plants and animals or pollute drinking water or food. If necessary, consult a
professional to evaluate the risks and minimize potential hazards. In case of machine oil leakage, please stop using the machine and have the pump repaired.
• The power source shall be cut off before adjusting the pump's position or touching the pump to prevent accidents. The electric pump shall not be lifted away
from the water surface after shutting down the power source so as to guarantee safety.
• The electrical pump is a specialized technology-based product. Unqualified personnel shall not attempt to maintain, repair, or disassemble the product.
Sealing and insulation testing must be conducted after the machine has been relocated and reassembled.
• The pump shall be maintained after 3000 hours of normal operation. Various parts that are vulnerable to damage such as the mechanical seal, bearing and
impeller etc must be replaced. An air pressure test must be conducted on the motor and oil chambers after laid-up or changing of the mechanical seal. The
test pressure is 0.4 Mpa. There shall be no leakage within five minutes.
• The pump shall not be submerged into water during long periods of no use. Instead, the pump shall be placed in clear water for several minutes of operation
so as to thoroughly clean it and remove mud inside and outside of the pump. Further, the pump shall be coated with an anti-rust oil and the stored in a
dry and well-ventilated place. Electric pumps that have operated for long periods of time shall be repainted or treated with an anti-rust oil according to its
surface corrosion status.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Motor out of operation.
No water or not enough
water is being pumped.
The protectors frequently
activate.
5
Problem
1. Voltage is too low leading to
failed start-up.
2. Stuck impeller or stator and rotor.
3. Three-phase electric pump:
power phase shortage.
4. The welding lines of capacitor
and protector have fallen off or
have gotten burned.
5. Burnt stator winding or open
1. Voltage is too low leading to not
enough rotation or reduced water
2. Too high lift that has exceeded
the electric pump's lift capacity.
3. Wrong impeller rotation.
4. Serious wear of the impellers.
5. Open circuit of stator winding.
1. Voltage is too low leading to
increased current and serious
motor overheating.
2. Too much low lift leads to
increased water drainage and
serious motor overload.
3. Wear of rotors or other parts.
4. The electric pump is exposed
above water or is dry running.
5. Damaged sealing, water inflow of
machine winding.
6. Serious bearing wear (too much
noise) and increased friction force.

2. Check causes and then take the
corresponding measures.
3. Take off the water inlet valve to
clean stoppers of impellers as well
as silt of sand-proof cover.
4. Find causes of phase shortage
and then take measures for normal
5. Re-weld falling wires or change
circuit.
6. Send to maintenance unit to
replace or repair windings.
2. Decrease lift or buy another
electric pump according to needs.
