Notes:
1. The -30 to +70°C temperature range is for the ST100 components and doesn't include the battery or solar
panel.
2. The power source on the battery input should be able to supply 500mA pulse current (at 3.7V) for 1.5
seconds. If the end-application expects to have 16 packet messages, the supply should be able to provide this
pulse current up to 16 times in succession.
3. If a battery is used, the VAR/installer should verify the battery's performance at the application's lowest
expected ambient temperature before proceeding with the selected battery.
4. The ST100 has the option to install a battery protection circuit. The VAR/installer will need to inform
Globalstar before ordering PCBs if this feature is desired.
5. Both the 0.75V and 50mW requirements must be met on the solar input for charging a depleted battery.
