Combustion air

The appliance, during its operation, requires combus-
tion air.
The inflow of combustion air can be obtained in the
following ways:
• it can come directly from outside with direct con-
nection to the combustion chamber (Fig. 19 - Fig.
22).
• it can come from the installation room or suitable
adjacent rooms (Fig. 23 - Fig. 24)
Extraction of combustion air from outside
In this case, a possible alternative may be:
• to channel the combustion air using a coaxial pipe
to expel the flue gases and extract the air (Fig. 19 -
Fig. 20 - A, B = Air inlet, C, D = Flue gas outlet); in this
case it is not necessary to create a classic air intake
in the room.
• to connect the combustion air inlet of the appliance
to the air intake using a special pipe (Fig. 21 - Fig. 22).
