Possible Cause
No circulation on main water
connections
Disengaged quick-disconnect
coupling
Clogged quick-disconnect coupling
or tubing
Faulty quick disconnect coupler
Pump not primed
Blockage in water tank
Blockage in plumbing circuit
Faulty pump or pump circuitry
Inadequate ice supply
Inadequate water flow
No water flow at main water
output
Blockage in plumbing circuit
Internal wiring continuity
Valve solenoid seizure
Faulty valve or valve circuitry
Solution

Check coupling for complete connection.
Partial coupling does not open the two-
way valve internal to the connector.
Remove external tubing, leaving the
external coupling connected. Using
compressed air, force the blockage out.
Contact CardioQuip Service.
Place system in PRIMING mode according
to operating instructions.
Clean mesh strainers at the bottom of the
water tank with a nylon brush.
Have qualified service personnel inspect
the internal tubing for kinks, bends or
other blockage.
Contact CardioQuip Service.
Add ice made from sterile or 0.22-micron
filtered water to the water tank.

Have qualified service personnel inspect
the internal tubing for kinks, bends or
other blockage.
Have qualified service personnel check
for an open in the valve input wiring.
Have qualified service personnel inspect
and lubricate the valve solenoid.
