Weekly Maintenance Procedure

The following weekly inspections shall be used to assess the condition of the tubing and water.
1. External Tubing Inspection: Visually inspect the device's external tubing for cloudiness or
discoloration. If the tubing does not appear to be clouded or discolored, return to use.
2. Water Quality Inspection: Lift the lid from the device. Visually inspect the water quality of
the tank. If the water is not discolored, does not emit a foul smell, and does not show visual
signs of biofilm, close the lid.
WARNING: If the tubing appears cloudy or discolored during the External Tubing
Inspection, immediately remove the device from service and contact CardioQuip
Customer Service for details regarding servicing assistance.
WARNING: If the water appears discolored, emits a foul smell, or shows visual signs of
biofilm during the Water Quality Inspection, immediately remove the device from
service and contact CardioQuip Customer Service for details regarding servicing
assistance.
