Supervision of check-sum error (SUM error)
10.2.2
Memory check sum is verified every four minutes in the CPU. When an error is found the error
message is displayed by the supervision function.
Error level
(i)
The error level has been set at level 1 (Serious error) in the automatic supervision. The check-
sum is monitored periodically. If the error is detected, the IED automatically restarts the
operation. The supervision function runs at CPU module
promptly when the error is solved.

When detecting an error, the error message will be shown on the LCD screen. LED will be lit
up.
