HMI operation

The user can operate functions with the operation keys etc., by seeing LCD screen.
Screen and LEDs during normal HMI operation
(i)
"IN SERVICE" is lit up (green LED) during the IED is running, but LCD screen is blacked out.
To turn on the LCD screen, press a key (except CLEAR); then, it will be turned on.

Main-menu and Sub-menu

Main-menu
If LCD screen is blacked out, press any key, except CLEAR. "Main-Menu" will appear
on the LCD screen (see the left of Figure 12.2-1). To go to the next level of hierarchy,
press the key ►.
Sub-menu
The right of Figure 12.2-1 shows an example: setting screen on the sub-menu. The
user can move the cursor downward or upward to view all of the items by using ▼
and ▲. To back to the previous hierarchy level or go to the next one, push ◄ and ►.
Screen structure
The screen is structured with title and data areas. The title area is positioned at the
top of two lines: the first one can display a title and the second left-one can display
local time, whereas the second right-one can display a number: line number at present,
cursor position, the last page or item. E.g., "2/4" means the current is at the second of
the maximum four.
