3 Getting Started
This section gets you started with the 445HD phone. The phone features a touch screen, providing
an intuitive, menu-driven user interface for configuring the device and viewing call information.

Getting Acquainted with the Phone's Screen

The figure below shows the touch screen in idle state.
Screens images depicted in this document might vary slightly in appearance from the actual
screen images on your phone.
Use the table below as reference:
Reference
1 Presence status: Available, Busy, Do not disturb.
User name and phone number configured by your network administrator using the Web interface.
Day, Date and Month, automatically retrieved from the Network Time Protocol (NTP) server,
