SIDERAIL CONTROL MEMBRANE REPLACEMENT

Required Tools:
Small Slotted Head Screwdriver

1. Run the bed fully up and apply the brakes. Raise the siderail needing repair.
2. Unplug the bed power cord from the wall outlet.
3. Using a small slotted head screwdriver, lift and remove the self-sticking membrane (A) of the
inner or outer control panel needing to be replaced. Proceed gently when inserting the
screwdriver under the membrane to avoid scratching the rail.
4. Install the new membrane. Be sure to position the membrane properly over the board
switches.
5. Test all controls of the control panel for proper operation before returning the bed to service.

Unless otherwise indicated, refer to figure 4.1C above for the illustration of this procedure
