Phone Settings Page Definitions

General Settings

Basic Settings
Local RTP
Defines the local RTP port pair used to listen and transmit.
Port The default value is 50040. The valid range is from 50040 to 65400.
Use Random Forces the device to use random ports for both SIP and RTP messages. This is usually
Port necessary when multiple GAC2570s are behind the same full cone NAT. The default
setting is "No".
Note: This parameter must be set to "No" for Direct IP Calling to work.
Enable In- If enabled, the entered DTMF digit will be displayed on ongoing call screen. Default is
call DTMF Yes.
Display
Enable LDAP Configures whether to display the matched content automatically in LDAP search when
Timeout timeout. If set to "No", users need to click the Search button to search the matched
Auto Search contacts mentioned above. Default is Yes.
Keep-alive
Specifies how the device will send a Binding Request packet to the SIP server in order
Interval (s) to keep the "ping hole" on the NAT router to open. The default setting is 20 seconds.
The valid range is from 10 to 160.
STUN Server Configures the URI of STUN (Simple Traversal of UDP for NAT) server. The device will
send STUN Binding Request packet to the STUN server to learn the public IP address
of its network. Only non-symmetric NAT routers work with STUN.
The default setting is "stun.ipvideotalk.com".
Configures GAC2570's
requirements.
Users can choose from Standard, NEC, Metaswitch, WorldStone, BroadSoft,
China Mobile, ZTE IMS, Mobotix, ZTE NGN, or Huawei IMS depending on the
server type. Default is Standard.
This feature is used for BroadSoft or Metaswitch call feature synchronization.
When set to "BroadSoft/Metaswitch", DND and Call Forward features can be
synchronized with the server. The local call forward function is disabled when
this feature is active. Default is No.
If set to "Yes", the GAC2570 will allow SIP NOTIFY messages to synchronize
local Phonebook.
