Removing and Installing the Scanning Optics

CAUTION
When turning ON the power with a cover removed, ensure that the high-voltage switch is
OFF. Removing a cover with the machine turned ON causes photomultiplier damage.
9.1
Adjusting the Format
Adjust the format in the following sequence:
[1] Verifying the image trimming amount
[2] Initializing the format data
[3] Entering the read width adjustment value
[4] Entering the read start position adjustment value
[5] Verifying the adjustment results
[1] Verifying the image trimming amount
CAUTIONS
• Before adjusting the format, set the image trimming amount to 0.
• If the image trimming amount is changed, restore it to the previous setting after
completion of format adjustment.
(1) Start the M-Utility.
(2) Choose "2. CONFIGURATION SETTING" and then "2. PRINT".
(3) Make sure that the image trimming amount values (TH and TE) are set to 0.

[2] Initializing the format data
(1) Start the M-Utility.
(2) Choose "5. SCANNER UTILITY", "6. FORMAT", "1. DEFAULT", and then "1. PIXEL
