Assembly Instructions - Shademaker LIBRA Series Owner's Manual

Two-person team is recommended for assembly.
By now, you have installed your mount kit or free-standing base, with the
required minimum base weight.
If using a free-standing base,
1. Carefully lift umbrella and insert through base stem.
2. Tighten base stem knob(s) or stem clamp by turning clockwise to secure
umbrella in place. NOTE: Base stem knobs/clamp may loosen over time. Simply
tighten knobs/clamp during use of umbrella.
If using a mount kit or steel base weight, install external stem onto mount kit or
steel base weight (all sold separately).
1. Attach external stem onto mount kit adapter plate, in-ground fitting or steel
base weight with (4) stem bolts included with external stem.
2. Tighten stem bolts using 5mm hexagon wrench to secure in place.
3. Carefully lift umbrella and insert into external stem.
4. Tighten base stem clamp by turning handle clockwise to secure umbrella in
place. NOTE: Base stem clamp on external stem may loosen over time. Simply
tighten clamp during use of umbrella.
