The Stick is based on the Texas Instruments TMS320C5515 Digital Signal Processor (DSP). The TMS320C5515 eZdsp USB Stick is a USB based printed circuit board (PCB) that allows engineers and programmers to evaluate certain characteristics of the TMS320C5515 DSP.

This means this board does not require an external power supply.
