Loosen the clamping nut 2 with open-end spanner
8 by applying it to the spanner flats and turning in
anticlockwise direction.
Insert the clamping shaft of the grinding tool to
ƒ
the stop into the collet chuck 1.
Hold the grinder spindle 3 firmly with open-end
ƒ
spanner 7 and clamp the tool bit with open-end
spanner 8 by the spanner flats , turning in clock-
wise direction.
The grinding tools must run completely concen-
trical. Do not continue to use out-of-round grind-
ing accessories, instead, replace before continu-
ing to work.
Do not tighten the collet chuck of the clamping
f
nut as long as no grinding accessory is mounted.
Otherwise, the collet chuck can become damaged.
Only use grinding points with a matching shank
f
diameter. A grinding point/accessory with a shank
diameter that does not fit the tool holder (see
"Technical Data"), can not be clamped properly and
will damage the collet chuck.
The application tool must be clamped at least
f
10mm. The inner shank dimension L
to calculate the maximum permitted speed of the
application tool from the specifications provided by
manufacturer of the application tool. It must not be
less than the maximum speed of the power tool.
DUST/CHIP EXTRACTION
Dusts from materials such as lead-containing coat-
f
ings, some wood types, minerals and metal can be
harmful to one's health. Touching or breathing-in
the dusts can cause allergic reactions and/or lead to
respiratory infections of the user or bystanders.
Certain dusts, such as oak or beech dust, are con-
sidered as carcinogenic, especially in connection
with wood-treatment additives (chromate, wood
preservative). Materials containing asbestos may
only be worked by specialists.
Provide for good ventilation of the working place.
ƒ
It is recommended to wear a P2 filter-class respi-
ƒ
rator.
Observe the relevant regulations in your country
for the materials to be worked.
Prevent dust accumulation at the workplace.
f
Dust can easily ignite.
OPERATION
STARTING OPERATION
Observe correct mains voltage! The voltage of
the power source must agree with the voltage
specified on the nameplate of the machine. Pow-
er tools marked with 230 V can also be operated
with 220 V.
STARTING AND STOPPING (C)
To start the power tool, push the On/Off switch 5
forwards (position I).
To switch off the power tool push the On/Off
switch 5 back (position O).
To save energy, only switch the power tool on
when using it.
WORKING ADVICE
Optimum grinding results are achieved when the
grinding tool is moved uniformly back and forth
with light pressure. Pressure that is too strong
reduces the performance capability of the ma-
chine and causes the grinding tool to wear more
quickly.
Protect the abrasive wheels from impacts.
f
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Before any work on the machine itself, pull the
mains plug.
For safe and proper working, always keep the ma-
chine and ventilation slots clean.
In extreme conditions, always use dust extraction
as far as possible. Blow out ventilation slots fre-
quently and install a portable residual current
device (PRCD). When working metals, conductive
dust can settle in the interior of the power tool.
The total insulation of the power tool can be im-
can be used

Please store and handle the accessory(-ies) care-
fully. If the replacement of the supply cord is nec-
essary, this has to be done by FF Group or an au-
thorized FF Group service agent in order to avoid
a safety hazard.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Recycle raw materials instead of disposing as
waste. Machine, accessories and packaging
should be sorted for environment - friendly re-
cycling. The plastic components are labeled for
categorized recycling.
