Use the numeric buttons (0 to 10) to enter the
desired time.
The specified tim e is displayed in the pull-do w n
m enu.
• "10" button w orks as "0" and "+10" button is not used with
this function.
• You can specify the tim e in hour/minute/second form at for
DVD VIDE O discs, and in minute/second form at for A udio
CD and Video CD/SVCD discs.

The unit starts playback fro m the specified tim e.

You do not have to press "0" to enter the trailing zeros
(for the last tw o digits in the exa m ple above).

• To correct a mistake
Use 2 repeatedly to m ove back to the digit w here you
entered a undesired nu m eral (the left m ost "-" digit),
and reenter the correct tim e.
(Exa m ple : changing "2:35:__" to "2:34:__.")



NOTES
• When appears on the TV screen:
The tim e you have selected is not contained on the disc,
or the tim e search function does not w ork on the disc.
Also note that the tim e search function does not w ork
during Video CD/SVCD playback with the PBC function.
• To dismiss the menu bar:
Press O N SCREE N.
• The time search function cannot be used during
program playback.
To locate a specific scene from the
display [DIGEST]
The unit can display the opening scene of each title or
chapter on a DVD VIDE O or each track of a Video CD/
SVCD. You can select a specific scene fro m those
displayed on the TV screen.
